The task details page shows details of a task and provides navigation to Task actions.
You can get to the task details page by using the Task option from the tasks' context menu. For many task types, you can also get to the task details by clicking on the name of the task from the Task list, or from the Plan view.
The task details page is split into sections. Different sections apply to different types of task.
Summary
The first section shows a summary.

This contains:
- A progress bar showing progress though the task, with links to the different sections of the task details page. The sections will vary between task types.
- indicates a required section
- indicates an optional section
- indicates a section that is not yet ready
- indicates a section that is complete (though more information can be added)
- A status, as described in Tasks.
- An Action drop-down that contains the same options as the task context menu. Many of the options are also presented within the sections to which they relate. The Task option is presented as Refresh because it refreshes the task details.
- By the icon, suggested next steps, created from an embedded expert system.
Task
The second section shows the main details of the task.

This contains:
- Task name, description and attachments. See Change task details.
- The task type. See Change task type.
- A list of related tasks, which includes Sub tasks and Dependencies.
- Additional task setup actions, such as Edit instructions and Set ready.
Dates
Dates show planned and actual dates. See Dates.
Additional date actions, such as manage reminders.
People
People shows who has been assigned to complete the task. See Assignment.
The section also includes the Share option for managing other people involved in the task.
Send
For tasks with a partner, controls the Send and recall of the task.
Run
Options for runing the task, such as:
- For partner tasks, Accept, decline and refer.
- Start task
- For tasks without a partner, Finish task.
- For partner tasks, Submit task.
Validate
For tasks with a partner, allows the task owner to validate, and accept the task or ask for rework. See Validate.
Archive
When appropriate, presents the Delete task option to remove unwanted tasks.
Messages
Shows a log of messages, and links to Chat.
