Some task types start automatically, but some tasks require that the you indicate they are started:
- The Task task type.
- If you receive a task where the task owner has used the Collaboration - full task type.
- Where tasks have been assigned to yourself, i.e. the Me assignment option.
- Some custom task types.
In these cases, the Run section in Task details will provide a Start button. Use this to indicate that the task has started.
The task status will change to In progress once you have started it.
