You may want to suspend work on a task, either because there is something blocking it, because other tasks must take priority, or because you need to review the task.
Use the Hold option from the task's context menu to put the task in a hold state. This will update the status of the task to show that it is on hold. If the task has a partner, the partner's task will also be marked as on hold.
Setting a task on hold will remove some actions from the task, but not all. For example, Chat will still be active, and although the partner will be informed that the task is on hold they will still be able to enter a response so that they can record work completed so far.
Use the Release option from the task's context menu to remove the hold state.
Hold and release both ask for confirmation before continuing.
