Use change task type to change the task type for the task. The Change task type action is available from the task context menu, or as a button in the Task section of Task details. The action is only available when the task has a status of prepare.
The change task type screen will let you select a different task type.
Select the new task type and Submit.
If you select the same task type, you will pick up any changes to the task type since the task was created, which can be useful when task types are upgraded.
Information you have alread entered, such as task descriptions, will be retained when you change the task type.
