Select the Settings folder and then the Portal settings icon to see additional settings for the portal.
Email templates
This includes two items to set the templates for emails, for the email sent when you have requested someone connects to your account, and the general notification email.
Click on the name of the email template to view it, and to send yourselve a test email. Use the edit icon to edit the template.
The email templates contain placeholders, and describe what the placeholders are. The defaults show how the placeholders work.
Use Save to save the templates.
If you have installed the Notification manager, the notification email template from portal settings will not be used, as it is replaced by other templates in the Notification manager. The Connection request email template will still be used.
Icons
The icons option brings up the icon library for the portal, and shows the standard icons.
To create a new icon, click on the New icon button. From here you can either upload an .png or .jpg image file which can be used as an icon, or set an icon class or HTML markup.
Image files are automatically resized to be suitable as icons.
The portal uses the Fontawesome icon set, and usually uses the duotone variants. To select an icon, use fad fa-icon-class, where fa-icon-class is the Fontawesome class for the icon. For example, if you want a bug icon, you would use fad fa-bug.
You can also enter HTML markup. At its simplest, you could enter one or two letters within a <span>, such as <span>XX</span>. Font are sized automatically, but you can set font size if you want.
To edit or delete an existing icon, click on the icon from the icon library. You can upload a different image, change the icon class or markup, or delete the icon. If you change or delete icons, existing users of the previous version are not affected.
You cannot edit or delete the standard icons.
