The plan view is the default view of a Relay project folder.

If you are using a customised version of Relay with a different default view, select View plan from the project folder's context menu to see the plan view.
Use the Search box to find specific tasks, or use the drop-down selectors on Type, Assigned to and Status to filter the tasks.
The standard plan view has eight columns.
| Seq | Sequence number of task in project. This will change as you add tasks or move them around. |
| Task | Name of the task. |
| Type | Task type |
| Start | Start date, planned or actual. If there is both an actual and a planned start date, the actual will be shown. |
| Finish | Finish date, planned or actual. If there is both an actual and a planned finish date, the actual will be shown. |
| Assigned to | The name of the person or organisation the task has been assigned to. |
| Status | The status of the task. |
| Actions | A drop-down list showing the task's context menu. |
Custom solutions may have different columns.
Drag
Use the Seq to move tasks around the project. You can drag to reorder and drag to indent and outdent.
When you move a task, its subtasks will be moved too.
Move
As an alternative to drag, or to move a task to a different folder, use the Move option from the task's context menu.

Select the folder to which you want to move the task. It can be the same folder.
If you just want to move the task to the bottom of the folder, use Move to complete the move.
If you want to set the position of the task within the target folder, use Set position >.

This moves the task relative to another task. Select the task relative to which you want to move this task from the Task drop down, and then select its position. In this case, we want to move the "Level ground" task to go after "Clear planting".
Use Move to complete the move.
Copy
To copy a task, including any subtasks, use the Copy option from the task's context menu.

Enter a name for the new task, or use the default one which indicates the task is a copy, and use Copy to copy the task.
The new task will be inserted directly under the task that was copied. You can use Move to move the task elsewhere.
The copy uses the same methods as Export and import, and has the same restrictions on what is copied. Copying a task only copies the task definition and setup. It does not copy task status, events and messages. You can copy a complete or in progress task, and you will get a similar task in prepare status. Instructions are copied, but responses are not copied. If you are using the Share task type, shared text and files will be copied.
