The Relay screen is split into three sections.
On the left is the folder list. This shows all the top-level folders in Relay. If you are in a low-level folder, it will also show you a link to the parent folder.
The middle shows details of the current folder. In this screen shot, the current folder is the top-level folder, called Home. The current folder can contain icons for sub folders and the Task list.
The left shows the activity panel. In this example, the activity panel is empty.
The example below shows an activity panel, in this case updating your own profile. The panel has a title. Use the X icon to close the panel without performing an action.
Various standard buttons are at the top of the page.
- The icon shows your portal branding. Clicking on the icon will take you back to the page you see when you sign in. For Relay, clicking on the icon will refresh the page. Relay remembers the current folder, so clicking on the icon will redisplay the current folder.
- The folder name and icon are shown at the top of the current folder. Clicking on these will re-run the default activity for the folder, which is usually to show the Plan view.
- The refresh icon re-loads the current folder. This will refresh the Task list and then run the default activity.
- The current folder context menu brings up a menu of actions for the current folder.
- Use the sign out link to sign out.
The screen shot also shows a switch next to the Sign out link. This is part of the RelayWorkSmart.com theme, and switches between a light and a dark version of the theme.
Mobile view
You can use Relay on a mobile device with a narrow display such as a phone.
In mobile view, the folder list is not shown, and you are taken straight into the current folder. If the current folder is not home, there are icons to navigate back to the Home folder and the parent folder.
When selected, the activity panel is shown in place of the current folder.
