After selecting Edit folder from the folder's context menu, use the Folder tab to change folder details.
Name |
Change the name of the folder. You cannot change the name of a connection folder - change the name of the connection instead. See Connections for details. |
Description |
Provide a description for the folder. The description is shown on the Current folder view. |
Parent |
The parent folder. Use this to rearrange the folder hierarchy. If this is not entered, or set to Home, the folder will be a direct child of the top-level Home folder. The folder hierarchy is used to control permissions and functionality within the portal, and these will be modified if you move a folder. If you are moving a folder with sub folders, use the Refresh all options in the Settings/Folders view to ensure permissions are reapplied. See the Folders topic in Settings for details. |
Path reference |
A shortened reference for the folder. This must only use letters, numbers and underscore. This is required for some advanced features, but can usually be left blank. |
Sequence |
The sequence of the folder within its parent. You can use a negative sequence, for example -1, to pin a folder to the top of the parent's folder list. The default sequence is 0, and folders with the same sequence are ordered alphabetically. |
