The top of the page shows the folder icon and name. Clicking on these will run the default action for the folder, which for Relay projects is to show (or refresh) the Plan view in the activity panel.
There are two icons to the right of the folder name.
The icon reloads the current folder, and runs the default action.
The icon shows the folder context menu. In a Relay project the context menu contains.
| View plan | Open up Plan view in the activity panel. This can be useful for customised folders where the default action is not the plan view. |
| Task wizard | Create a task using the task wizard. See New task. |
| Check dependencies | Check that dependencies have been applied across a project. See Dependencies. |
| New sub project | Create a new sub project folder. See New project. |
| Manage connections | Select people to whom tasks can be assigned. See Assignment. |
| Export | Export project tasks, see Export and import. |
| Edit folder | Update the folder. See Edit folder. Only available to portal adminitrators. |
| Delete folder. | Delete the folder, and all the tasks and sub folders. See Delete folder. Only available to portal administrators. |
The current folder view shows some or all of:
- A folder description. Only the first few lines of the description are shown. Click on the description to see the full description.
- Icons that run actions, like the New task icon in this folder.
- Icons for sub-folders, in this case Sub project A and Sub project B.
- The Task list which is described in the next section.
If there are lots of icons, and there is a task list, Relay will format the icons as a two-row scrollable area so that the task list remains visible.
